Chris asked me to be the keynote speaker at Social Media Camp Victoria. From start to finish, he was nothing but a pleasure to work with. Everything was incredible, and the size of the crowd blew me away. 30 cities are on my book tour, and this stop is right at the top, because of him.

We (me, my wife and 2 children) came to Victoria on vacation in the summer of 2004 and fell in love with the city, its charm, parks, beaches, lakes, hiking/cycling trails, golf courses and choice of organic farms/foods. About 3 days into the trip my wife and I looked at each other and said out loud what we had both been thinking, "...we have to move out here". Toronto had experienced 27 'smog days' already at that point, we could barely see the CN Tower from the top of the Bayview extension and our then 3-month old son was diagnosed with mild bronchitis. |
